From Palm Coast, to the south and Fernandina Beach, to the north, the area around Jacksonville and St. Augustine is home to some of the finest golf courses in Florida. The most famous being the TPC STADIUM at SAWGRASS.
Golf, however, is not the only reason to visit this area also known as the First Coast of Golf. St Augustine is one of the oldest towns in the USA and still retains much of its southern charm from days long gone. Jacksonville is a modern city with waterfront restaurants, miles of sandy beaches renowned for it's warm southern hospitality.
The area is also home to the World Golf Village which has a variety of accommodation from luxury villas to 4 and 5 star hotels, 36 holes of spectacular golf and The World Golf Hall of Fame.
Less than a 2 hour drive north east of Orlando which has direct flights from London and Manchester, Jacksonville is well served by all of the major US airlines via Atlanta, Philadelphia and New York.
The best months to golf weather wise are March through June and again in October through early December when the low prices and autumn sunshine offer the best value all year.
