Easily accessible by direct flights from the U.K the Miami/Fort Lauderdale area is recognised the world over as a great holiday destination. What is not so well known is that as well as having some of the USA's most famous golf resorts such as THE DORAL and TURNBERRY ISLE, there are a host of other very good and reasonably priced public and semi-private courses.
Miles of wide sandy beaches, hundreds of restaurants and a vibrant nightlife help makes the area an attractive option to the more sedate resorts on Florida's gulf coast.
Whilst the climate for golf in the area is good all year round February through May and October through December are the best months to golf.
