Accommodation and Courses in Palm Springs
Nestled at the base of the San Jacinto Mountains the city of Palm Springs is just one of 7 towns that make up this desert paradise, just over an hours drive east of Los Angeles. The palm lined streets invite you to explore the boutique shops, art galleries and museums while soaking up the year round sunshine and desert scenery.
And then, there is the golf. With more than 70 outstanding public and semi-private courses to choose from, Palm Springs without doubt is a golf holiday destination not to be missed.
The Coachella Valley as the area is known is well served by most major US airlines, however, the most popular route from the U.K. is by direct flight to Los Angeles and then drive the 100 or so miles along Interstate 10 to the Palm Springs area. A couple of nights stopover in LA or Santa Monica is a favourite option before heading off to the many attractions that the Palm Springs area has to offer.
Whilst the Coachella Valley enjoys more than 300 cloudless days each year the best times for golfers to visit would be February through May, avoid the high temperatures and humidity of the summer months, then again during our favourite months of October and November.
