Accommodation and Courses in Phoenix / Scottsdale
The Phoenix/Scottsdale area of Arizona now has in excess of 60 great golf courses open to the public and is firmly esatblised as one of the USA most popular golf holiday destiantions. There are parkland and tree lined resort style courses in abundance, however, it is the desert/mountain style layouts which makes Arizona such a unique golf holiday destination and why once you have experienced these wonderful courses, golfers return time and again to play.
From reasonably priced hotels and self catering accommodation, to some of the USA's most famous (and expensive) resorts, the Valley of the Sun is now established as one of the Worlds great golf holiday destinations.
Easily reached with direct flights from Heathrow, Phoenix is also well served by all the major US airlines via New York, Charlotte, Atlanta and Detroit.
Green fees and accommodation can be pricey in the peak season of February through April, however, come May/June the rates plummet and this is the best time to visit for value for money. September through November is also the golfing season with temperatures well into the 70s guaranteed until late November.
