Set on a high marsh peninsula, Dunes West is one of Charleston's nationally acclaimed golf facilities. This Arthur Hills design has already won many awards and you will see why, when you have played this enjoyable traditional style course.
Oak Point (££):
20 miles South of Charleston, this Clyde B Johnston designed course is worth the drive. Close to Kiawah and Seabrook Islands, you will enjoy hitting the wide fairways which stretch along salt marshlands and dense forests.
Charleston National (££):
This is no place for the meek and mild. Rees Jones has delivered a masterpiece on three small islands overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway. Pot bunkers, water and swirling winds will test any golfer's abilities.
Patriots Point Links (£):
Charleston's long time favourite enjoys a convenient and scenic setting overlooking Charleston Harbour. With panoramic views of the Charleston area, this course is an absolute pleasure to play.
Rivertowne CC (££):
This picturesque Arnold Palmer designed course situated just 20 minutes north of historic Charleston is a must to play when visiting the area. With 13 holes bordering the tidal marshes and winding through a mature forest of pine and oak trees you will have to go a long way to find a more enjoyable round of golf.
The Links at Stono Ferry (£):
Located along the Intracoastal Waterway this beautiful course is a thrill and a challenge to all standards of golfer. The front nine was carved through massive oaks and pines while the bank nine provides panoramic view of the marshes and waterway.
Wild Dunes - Links (£££):
One of Tom Fazio's best creations. From the fairways lined with Palmetto Palms to the last 2 holes alongside wind swept dunes this is a course we promise you will enjoy.
Coosaw Creek CC (£):
Very popular with the local golfer unusually for the area the course is blessed with rolling terrain. Fun and fair game for the novice whilst challenging for the more accomplished golfer from the back tees.
